The Department of Information Technologies of the University started to work in 2018 July to receive ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System Standards Certificate, which is an international standard and completed the training process successfully. Preventing illegal or unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, extinguishment, transfer and damage; preserving and applying risk management process successfully with confidentiality, integrity and accessibility/sustainability of information; management of risks to related parties correctly and providing documentation in accordance with internatiıonal standards were the aims of the training. Documentation works were started at the end of the training and internal inspection, management review and external inspection processes were completed. As a result of successful works of The Department of Information Technologies of the University ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System Standards Certificate is received.

ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System Standards Certificate will contribute to documentation, follow up and update of information and experience acquired in order to create institutional memory and continuous development of the university.
