Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya who is always in touch with his students listens to their problems and tries to find solutions, came together with the students on the date of 13 March 2019. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gökbel, Secretary General Mehmet Zeki Küçük, deans, directors, academic and administrative staff and students have attended the meeting.

Rector Karakaya: “The Youth is not only the key of the community but also the seed of the future"

Rector Karakaya started his words by saying that he is quite happy to be together with the students and he presents both his rector and academician identity in front of the students and shares his experiences with them thanks to the Rector Student Meetings. He stressed that the architects of the future are the youth and he describes them as not only the key of the community but also the seed of the future. He advised his students to become conscious, protect the values and culture as they would always be the target of the ones who want to eradicate a community. He also advised them to discharge the responsibility of the day on the same day and to study hard and make a great effort. 

Rector Karakaya: “Thinking is What Makes People Qualified”

Rector Karakaya shared the value of being able to think and carrying it into effect with his students and he told them "Belief is what comes from inside. You should find a road map to transfer your internal world into thinking and contemplation." He asked his students to prepare themselves for the future and advised them to study hard today for the sake of tomorrow and he stressed that he always supports them. 

Rector Karakaya: “The Source of Conscious of Being a Nation is University Youth"

Additionally, Rector Karakaya said that the future waits for the youth as the new pioneers of the new civilization and he believes in youth as they will take firm steps forward. He stressed that the conscious of being a nation is university youth and he asked them to preserve that source. 

After his speech, Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya answered students' questions and then he had a family photo together with his students.
