Our University continues to take important steps on the way to internationalization by actualizing its first international congress at Ahievran Congress and Culture Center. International Ahi Evran Medicine and Health Science Congress that was organized in cooperation with 5 abroad and 2 domestic universities has started on the date of 12 April 2019 at 15 Temmuz Milli İrade Hall. 

The opening speech of the Congress in which almost 190 academicians from 16 countries participated, was made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. Güneş started his speech by giving information about  International Ahi Evran Medicine and Health Science Congress. He extended his special thanks to those who made a contribution to the organization of the Congress, especially to Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya, the Rector of our University.

After the vice Dean, Prof. Dr.  Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, made a speech.  Dean Karahocagil gave some information about Akhism Culture and Ahi Evran-ı Veli and he said that they aim at making a contribution to mankind by combining modern medicine treatments with the values of our civilization. He also extends his gratitude to the ones who made contributions to the organization and participants. 

After the Dean's speech, Prof. Dr.Marichereda Valeria Genadiivna who is a member of Odessa National Medical University, Prof. Dr. Hani Abdeen who is a member of Al-Quds University,  Prof. Dr. Mahmud Mustafa who is a member of An NAJAH-National University, Prof. Dr. Musa Cafarov who is a member of Baku State University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vanina Mihailova who is a member of Bulgaria Plovdiv Medicine University Faculty of Community Health gave small speeches and mentioned how happy they are of being at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and they hope that this congress would continue in the following years. 

After the speeches of the participants, the Vice Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt also gave a speech. In his speech, Prof. Kurt said that they are quite happy with hosting International Ahi Evran Medicine and Health Science Congress and he wished a fruitful congress to all participants. 

After the opening speeches, the Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil gave plaques to the participants of the Congress.

Then the Congress continued with the sessions in different halls.
