The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) has accepted one more project of a lecturer who is a member of our university. Within the framework of "Protocol on Cooperation in Science and Technology" signed on 10 May 2017 between TUBITAK and the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research (BRFFR), a project carried out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk Selçuk who is a member of our University's Faculty of Science and Letter Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and named "Bio-diversity of Microfungi on Trees and Shrubs in Forests in Natural Preserves of Turkey and Belarus on the instance of Kazdagı and Belavezhskaya Pushcha National Parks" is evaluated as worth to support by TUBITAK.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk Selçuk gave detailed information about the project by saying that the budget of the project is almost 550 thousand TL and they will work together with the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research (BRFFR). He also stated that Belarus Belavezhskaya Pushcha National Park is one of the most important national parks in Europe and it is a primitive forest and they will detect kinds of fungi developin on trees and shrubs.
