The excavation works are about to end at the greenhouse area in which geothermal resource will be used. Rector Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya paid a visit to the greenhouse area where the excavation work is almost completed on 27 June 2019. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt and the staff of the Directorate of construction and technical works also attended the visit.
Director of construction and technical works Hakan Seyfi gave information about the works taking place at the greenhouse area of our university within the scope of the geothermal greenhouse project that will attract the local and foreign investors to the region. Mr. Seyfi also added that the excavation work is almost completed and the geothermal greenhouse and operating building will be ready in 2020 January.

Rector Karakaya made an explanation about the final situation of the greenhouse area and he emphasized that Kırşehir will be transformed into a trademark in the field of greenhouse cultivation. 6 soilless and 1 with soil agriculture greenhouses, 1.535.00 square meter in total, will be built at the Central Campus of our university and there will be an education area for both our students and unskilled laborers.
