Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümüt Akagündüz, from KAEU Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of History, was awarded the Nafi Atuf Kansu Educational Research Award. 2021 Article Award was given to the article of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümüt Akgündüz, "Thoughts on Peasantry Education in Second Constitutional Monarchy Era". Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümüt Akagündüz, who is a faculty member of the History Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, received the award from Dr. Niyazi Altunya and Metin Atuf Kansu at the ceremony held on October 23, 2021, with the participation of the Kansu family. The “Nafi Atuf Kansu Educational Research Award” has been given on behalf of Nafi Atuf Kansu (1890-1949), one of the important figures of our education and intellectual history, to promote and support scientific research in the fields of education and culture since 2014.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümüt Akagündüz stated that he is very happy to receive the 2021 "Nafi Atuf Kansu Educational Research Award” and thanked everyone who awarded his article.
