The 4th Traditional University-City Meeting event organized by the Rectorate of KAEU for the integration of the university with the city has come to an end. The event, which started in Cacabey Square on May 24, 2022, ended after various events on May 25, 2022.

All academic and administrative units of KAEU took their places in the stands at the 4th Traditional University-City Meeting event, in which the people of Kırşehir participated largely. The event, where the activities and works of the units were exhibited, was flooded with visitors. Candidate students, who were preparing for the university exam, and their parents visited the stands of the academic units and got information about the departments. Pilot university projects contributing to the development of Kırşehir, the national software AYDEP ensuring quality in education, and various certificates of success given during the quality processes were presented to the attention of the citizens of Kırşehir at the 4th Traditional University-City Meeting event.

Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya stated that they were pleased to explain the activities, projects, and unit studies of KAEU to our citizens and said, "The 4th Traditional University-City Meeting event was an occasion to come together with our citizens." Rector Karakaya, who stated that they have been working for both the university and Kırşehir since the day they took office, said that thanks to these events, they brought together the projects and works of the university with the citizens. Prof. Dr. Vatan Karakaya said “All our effort is to see Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and our city in a rising position in its region.” and he noted that he was happy to be together with our city at the 4th Traditional University-City Meeting event.
