Our university, which values the press and continues to manage its administration with the principle of transparency by maintaining an uninterrupted flow of information, came together with members of the press at a breakfast organized in honor of the "January 10 Working Journalists' Day." The breakfast event, hosted by Kırşehir Press Council President Sait Yanık, was attended by journalists from our province as well as Kırşehir Governor Mete Buhara, Provincial Police Director Erdoğan Kartal, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Sadık Gülecen, Vice Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Musa Özata, Kırşehir Deputy Mayor Nuri Araz, General Secretary Dr. Hüseyin İlter, and KAEU Press and Public Relations Consultant Instructor Vahit Özdemir. The program, held at Kırşehir Öğretmenevi, emphasized the importance of the work done by journalists. The sacredness of the work performed by journalists, who work day and night to inform the public, was highlighted in the program, where the "January 10 Working Journalists' Day" was celebrated for all media workers.

During the meeting, Governor Mete Buhara, in his speech, celebrated the day of journalists by stating that the press served the public by meeting the information needs of the people. Buhara emphasized that investments that would shape the future of Kırşehir were being made and would continue to be made, highlighting the significant role of the press in bringing this aspect of the city to the forefront. The program, where Kırşehir Press Council President Sait Yanık thanked the local administrators for their support to the press, concluded with a conversation with members of the press.

REctor of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil published a message on January 10 Working Journalists' Day and the message stated the following: "Journalists, providing the right, principled, and objective understanding of individuals' right to information regardless of the concept of time, perform an important profession that contributes significantly to the strengthening of our democracy and the development of our national unity. In the projects we carry out as a university, we also appreciate the support of our media. I sincerely celebrate the 'Working Journalists Day' of all journalists who have adopted the Ahilik understanding, preserving the integrity and principles of their profession while providing our people with accurate and fast news services.
