Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, who follows works and events organized in the region, attended the workshop titled "The Knowledge Problem in Higher Education: Critics and Proposals II" organized in Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli University (NEVÜ). The workshop took place on April 22-23 2024 at NEVÜ Vali Şinasi Kuş Culture and Congress Center and it was moderated by the previous rector of KAEU and Faculty Member of  Yıldız Teknik University Prof. Dr. Rektör Karakaya. The opening panel was attended by Faculty Member of Marmara University  Prof. Dr. Ömer Türker and İstanbul Medeniyet University Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Halil Üçer yaptı. The workshop elaborated on the development and needs of Turkish Higher education from the past to today.

Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil who gave brief information regarding the workshop, remarked on the impact of such events and workshops on the development of universities and he stated the need for reformation of universities in the everchanging world. Rector Karahocagil wished for a successful workshop and added that the workshop titled “The Knowledge Problem in Higher Education: Critics and Proposals II" hosted sessions titled “İslam İnsanlığa Bugün Bilimlerin Gelişmesi ve Karşılaşılan Büyük Sorunların Çözümlenmesi İçin Nasıl Teklifler Sunuyor/Sunabilir”, “İlimler Tasnifi, Fakültelerin Yapısı ve Ortak Dersler” and “Mevcut Üniversite Yapısının Tartışılması Toplum, Siyaset ve Üniversite İlişkileri”.

Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil visited Rector of Rector of NEVÜ Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin in his office before the workshop. During the visit, ideas were exchanged regarding the projects in the specialized fields of both universities, strengthening collaborations. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Rector of NEVÜ Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin thanked the Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil.
