Kırşehir Ahi Evran University showed great success in the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) 2209-A and 2209-B Research Project Support Programmes. Project applications to TÜBİTAK 2209-A Research Project Support rose to 337 from 21 in the last 18 months, and increased by sixteen times. Accepted project numbers also rose to 156 from 13, and increased 12 times. On the other hand, three research projects of KAEU were granted support in the scope of 2209-B Research Project Support. The projects in total were granted 1.440.000 TL.



KAEU’s vision to strengthen its Research and Development (R&D) ecosystem and the institutional support it provides laid the foundation for this success. The training seminars organized by the KAEU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and the incentives offered to academic staff to promote a research culture increased students’ interest in scientific research.

The project writing trainings, mentoring programs, and academic consultancy services implemented under the leadership of KAEU’s relevant units played a significant role in helping students realize their potential. Rector of KAEU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil emphasized that this student-centered approach in R&D activities has contributed to the increase of such national and international achievements of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. He expressed his gratitude to all students and academic staff who contributed to this great success and wished them continued success.
