The QS Sustainability Ranking is compiled by Quacquarelli Symonds based on various criteria and provides students with a unique perspective on institutions' commitment to a more sustainable existence. It also examines external evidence of this commitment, ranging from the impact graduates have in solving climate issues through science and technology to the impact of researches conducted under the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. This ranking also evaluates the social and environmental impacts of universities as significant employers capable of addressing the operational sustainability challenges of large and complex organizations, in addition to their role as centers of education and research. The ranking uses criteria such as environmental impact (environmental education, environmental research, environmental sustainability, etc.), social impact (employability and opportunities, equality, health and well-being, etc.), and governance.

Speaking on the subject, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil expressed his gratitude for Kırşehir Ahi Evran University's significant achievement in entering the sustainability ranking for the first time in 2026, adding that our university will continue to add new successes to its international achievements.
