A bilateral cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening academic cooperation between Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and Mahambet Ötemisov West Kazakhstan University, located in the city of Oral (Uralsk) in Kazakhstan, has been signed. This important step taken between the two universities is expected to pave the way for new joint projects in the fields of education, research, cultural exchange, and academic mobility.

This collaboration was initiated and implemented as a result of the efforts and academic contacts of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osman Kabadayı, a faculty member of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Science and Letters. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osman Kabadayı was invited by the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, Faculty of Philology, Mahambet Ötemisov West Kazakhstan University, and served as a visiting faculty member in the city of Oral for one month. During this period, he contributed to the academic interaction between the two institutions. He also gave a series of seminars at Mahambet Ötemisov West Kazakhstan University, the Oral Local History Museum, and the city's leading libraries on topics such as manuscripts written in Chagatai Turkish, rare works, and the preparation of scientific catalogs for these works. These seminars made significant contributions to manuscript studies in the region.

The signed agreement and academic activities carried out are significant in terms of developing scientific cooperation among universities in the Turkic world. This new partnership between Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and Mahambet Ötemisov West Kazakhstan University will form the basis for long-term projects in terms of education, research, and cultural interaction.
