In order to strengthen its work in the field of quality and to make process management more effective, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is holding Integrated Quality Management System (BKYS) evaluation meetings on March 25-26, 2026, at our University Senate Hall.

The meetings were held under the chairmanship of our University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil; while Vice Rectors, the Secretary General, Heads of Departments, Coordinators, and Directors of Research and Application Centers attended the meetings, deans, directors, deputy directors, and department heads of academic units also actively participated in the process.

In the evaluation meetings held, the 2026 process performance indicator targets for each academic and administrative unit, the activity plans linked to these targets, the risks related to these activities, and the control activities for these risks are being addressed. Furthermore, by evaluating the performance results of the previous year, activities within the scope of education and training, research and development, social contribution, and managing transformation processes were reviewed from a holistic perspective.

The meetings also hold significance in terms of demonstrating the active participation and guiding roles of leaders in processes, in line with the management approach adopted by the institution. These evaluations, carried out specifically within the framework of the EFQM Model’s “Institutional Culture and Leadership” approach, aim to address institutional goals collectively with all units and to strengthen the quality culture at the institutional level. Through these meetings held directly by senior management with the units, it is aimed to closely monitor process performances, evaluate risks in advance, and plan activities toward strategic goals more effectively. Thus, the participatory management approach, leadership, and continuous improvement culture at the university are further reinforced.
