The award ceremony organized within the scope of the 5th R&D Project Market and Promotion Days took place with intense participation. The event was hosted by our University and organized by the Anatolian Universities Union. The ceremony held on May 15, 2026 at the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center. The Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Term President of the Anatolian Universities Union and Rector of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz, rectors and vice rectors of member universities of the Anatolian Universities Union, academics, and students attended the ceremony.
The competition was organized in four main categories. The categories were "Engineering and Basic Sciences", "Biotechnology and Health Sciences", "Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences", and "Social and Human Sciences". Awards were presented to the ranking students and academics.
In the Engineering and Basic Sciences field, academic category, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Esen from Malatya Turgut Özal University won the first prize. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Sarı from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University won the second prize. Oğuz Mustafa Köprülü from Onay İnova Teknoloji San. ve Tic. A.Ş. won the third prize. In the student category of the same field, Eşref Kutay Gökduman from Kayseri University won the first prize. Muhammet Bilal Yıldız from İnönü University won the second prize. Melih Yılmaz, also from İnönü University, won the third prize.
In the Biotechnology and Health Sciences field, academic category, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mesut Polatgil from Sivas Cumhuriyet University won the first prize. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ulaş Çaydaş from Fırat University won the second prize. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zekiye Kocakaya from Kayseri University won the third prize. In the student category of this field, İrem Ölçer from Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University won the first prize. Beyza Kurt from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University won the second prize. Anıl Güvençer, also from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, won the third prize.
In the Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences field, academic category, Asst. Prof. Dr. İlker Türkay from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University won the first prize. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aykut Burğut from Çukurova University won the second prize. Asst. Prof. Dr. Fevziye Şüheda Hepşen Türkay from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University won the third prize. In the student category of this field, Nurcan Menevşe from Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University won the first prize. Begüm Bike Saler from Fırat University won the second prize. Azize Dağ from İnönü University won the third prize.
In the Social and Human Sciences field, academic category, Prof. Dr. Fulya Öner Armağan from Erciyes University won the first prize. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emine Şener from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University won the second prize. Prof. Dr. Dilber Polat from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University won the third prize. In the student category of this field, Esma Eser from Yozgat Bozok University won the first prize. Taha Göktuğ Karaca from İnönü University won the second prize. Rabia Sena Uysal from Yozgat University won the third prize.
Abdullah Doğan from Malatya Turgut Özal University won the Honorable Mention Award. He received the award in the field of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences with the "Toprak Göz" project. The rectors and vice rectors of the Anatolian Universities Union member universities presented the awards to the winners. The award ceremony ended after a group souvenir photo.
