Kırşehir Ahi Evran University continues its high-level contacts in the Balkans as part of its internationalization vision and global academic collaborations. At the official opening ceremony of the 3rd International Congress on Economic and Administrative Studies held in Kosovo, the Anatolian Universities Union (AÜB) delegation—including Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil and International Relations Office Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Sarı—met with Kosovo Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli and the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Prizren, Fatih Topçu, to attend the opening of the congress.



As part of the opening program, which aimed to contribute to the congress's goals of scientific and regional cooperation, a meeting was held with Kosovo Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli. In addition to the economic and administrative topics discussed at the congress, the parties evaluated processes for strengthening economic ties between the two countries through higher education institutions and implementing regional development-oriented projects. During the meeting, opportunities to transform the university's R&D experience in its specialization field into international commercial and academic collaborations were also discussed. Furthermore, the delegation met with Fatih Topçu, the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Prizren, at the opening ceremony. The sides exchanged views on educational activities and cultural bridges in the Balkans, as well as the contributions that member institutions of the Anatolian Universities Union could provide to higher education efforts in the region.



Evaluating the Balkan program and the high-level meetings at the congress opening, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil stated that Kırşehir Ahi Evran University plays an active role in the global education ecosystem and regional collaborations. Pointing out the academic value that the 3rd International Congress on Economic and Administrative Studies holds for the region, Rector Karahocagil thanked Kosovo Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli and Prizren Consul General Fatih Topçu for their support and attendance at the opening ceremony.
