The projects developed by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University—selected as a pilot university in the fields of agriculture and geothermal energy under the “Regional Development-Focused Mission Differentiation and Specialization Project” led by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK)—continue to make a name for themselves across all platforms. Two major projects at our university that add value to our city and region—the Athlete Health Research, Application, and Thermal Rehabilitation Center Project (SAUTER) and the R&D Greenhouse Project—have received extensive coverage in national newspapers.

Kırşehir Ahi Evran University holds the distinction of being the first and only greenhouse in the country to feature a solar-powered greenhouse (GES) as part of its R&D Greenhouse Project, which has captured national attention. In our university’s R&D Greenhouse, which utilizes a solar-powered heating system, solutions are being developed using modern agricultural technologies and innovative practices to reduce the region’s dependence on external sources for agriculture. News reports in the national media have highlighted that the work conducted in the R&D Greenhouse is not merely an academic achievement but also contributes to increased employment in the region and boosts the local economy.

In news reports featuring SUATER—another major project of our university—it was noted that the center will revitalize health and sports tourism in the region. The project, which aims to utilize geothermal resources professionally in the health sector, was highlighted as a hub with international expertise for monitoring the treatment and performance of both amateur and professional athletes. According to reports in the national press, the SUATER Project is expected to position Kırşehir as one of the leading cities in health and sports tourism. The center also stands out for its structure, consisting of 30 different departments, and for providing services with a faculty of experts in their respective fields.Ulusal basında yer alan haberlere ulaşmak için;
