This year, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University served as the setting for a rare highlight during its graduation ceremonies. At the graduation ceremony organized by our university’s academic units, a mother and son both graduated from the same vocational school, while at the general graduation ceremony, two siblings secured first and second place in the university rankings, leaving no room for anyone else to claim those spots.

Among those who successfully completed their studies and graduated from the Vocational School of Health Services this year were two special individuals. A mother and son, whose determination serves as an example to everyone, graduated together from the same vocational school and received their diplomas. The mother and son, who supported each other throughout their time on campus, tossed their caps into the air together at the graduation ceremony. Demonstrating once again that education and success know no age limits, the mother and son received a standing ovation and heartfelt congratulations from those attending the graduation ceremony.

At our general graduation ceremony, two siblings graduated with honors from our university. Rewarded for their academic careers marked by great determination and consistent effort, one of the siblings became the university valedictorian, while the other achieved the distinction of being the university salutatorian. The two successful siblings, who received their diplomas and awards from our university’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, brought great pride to both their families and Kırşehir Ahi Evran University.

Commenting on the matter, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil noted that success stories like these best reflect our university’s educational quality, the sense of belonging our students feel here, and the motivating environment. He added that he believes the achievements of the mother and son, as well as the two siblings who graduated with honors, will serve as an inspiration to future students at our university.
