The Social Transcript Program was launched in 2024 by KAEU to recognize and systematically document the achievements students gain through their participation in scientific, cultural, artistic, social, community, and athletic activities organized by university units or other institutions and organizations throughout their academic careers. The program began to show results after two years. Kırşehir Ahi Evran University awarded certificates to the two students who earned the highest scores in the Social Transcript Program at the undergraduate and associate degree levels.
Kırşehir Ahi Evran University prioritizes an educational model that, while preparing students for life, does not rely solely on theoretical education but also aims to develop their social, cultural, moral, and athletic skills. To this end, our university’s “Social Transcript” program documents and assigns points to the activities, organizations, and projects in which our students participate throughout their academic terms. In the 2025–2026 academic year, Erol Tilki, a bachelor’s student in Elementary Education at the Faculty of Education, and Sude Doğru, an associate degree student in Health Systems Technology at Çiçekdağı Vocational School, became the first students to receive the Social Transcript Diploma after earning the highest scores in the Social Transcript Program.
The Social Transcript Program is developed by the Social Transcript Development Commission under the KAEU Social Contribution Coordination Office. Issued independently of the Academic Transcript, the Social Transcript recognizes students who respect universal and human values, are sensitive to social issues, responsible, protective of national values, entrepreneurial, intellectual, valuing physical and mental health, prioritizing sustainability and scientific development, self-confident, and embracing ethical and aesthetic values. It also helps them gain awareness regarding their personal development.
In his remarks on the subject, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil noted that they were delighted to award diplomas through the Social Transcript Program, which they launched in 2024. Explaining that the program makes students’ activities visible and rewards them with a certificate, Rector Karahocagil congratulated the students who received Social Transcript Certificates at the graduation ceremony and wished them success in the next phase of their lives.
